Some Greenhouse Photos

So here are a few photos of the greenhouse we erected in September 2012. It used to belong to my friend Greg but he was looking to get rid of it and due to being full of piss and vinegar about my pretty successful garden last summer, I thought this would be a great addition to my farm. So here are a few photos, just to test the photo uploading capabilities of this blog.

The wonderful world of Blogger!

So I was thinking about all the stuff in my life I need to keep track of and want to share with others. Facebook is fun but it's hard for folks (e.g. me) to keep updated on everyone I want to keep up on, and then there's a lot of kind-of-but-not-really-interesting stuff that people post. Picasa photos, Flickr, Pinterest, etc are also unruly to deal with. I remembered I have a blog, Peanut Butter and Jealousy, that I started in order to keep track of my culinary pizza journey of the Anchorage bowl. So I went to check that out and realized you can have more than one blog. So I decided to start a new blog to help me keep track of all the great foods I have eaten and want to make. That one is Food, Drinks and Fun in the 49th State. And then I quickly realized that you can have more than one blog, which is the awesomest thing ever. I really hate cross-posting sometimes. My nearby neighbor, Nunaka Valley Farm inspired me to make this one, which is all about urban farming in Anchorage. Another one will track my many house repair and remodeling projects, and maybe there will be another that explores my various art and etsy-type projects that I have going on. I do love etsy.
